
Tonkawa Public Schools teachers and staff participated in three days of professional development to kick off the 2022-2023 school year. Sessions included school safety with Tonkawa Police Chief Nick Payne, a field trip to the First Americans Museum, and Ruby Payne: A Framework for Understanding Poverty with Dr. JoWanda Rollins-Fells.





Remember to vote on August 23. This no tax increase bond issue would allow for a centeralized cafeteria/kitchen to be built to serve all TPS students.



Tonkawa teachers and staff were welcomed back to school for the 2022-2023 school year with a breakfast provided by the Tonkawa Chamber of Commerce.

TES students celebrated the end of the summer school program with at swim party at the new Tonkawa Aquatic Center.

Tonkawa students leaving the 8th grade are invited to participate in Character Counts Camp during the summer break.
On May 25 students volunteered at the Regional Food Bank in OKC.

9 Square in the Air Courts: a new addition to our playgrounds at Tonkawa Elementary.
TES Staff learned how to play 9 square in the Air at a recent staff meeting. We can’t wait to teach it to the students!
