Watch out Tonkawa! Not only is this pre-K student reading he is now writing and illustrating his own books. He is one smart cookie 🍪

TES is reading "The Wild Robot" by Peter Brown as a whole school. Each day all classrooms are reading the same chapters in the book and participating in activities . As events happen in the story, coordinating items are added to the interactive wall for kids to enjoy.

At 8:51, TES experienced a power flash followed by a noticeable burning odor. In response, a fire drill was promptly initiated, leading to the evacuation of students and staff. Our SRO notified the Tonkawa Fire Department, and by 9:20, the all-clear was declared and no fire was reported. The Building Maintenance Department is actively addressing the situation.

Congratulations to the Tonkawa High School Concert Band for receiving a "SUPERIOR I" rating at Tri-State Music Festival! Way to go!
