Mrs. Neal’s 4th grade ELA class participated in a genre book tasting activity, where students explored different types of books and completed a worksheet to review the key characteristics of each genre.

Attention 2026 SENIORS and SENIOR PARENTS....

Starting off the semester strong with learning about, Art is.... Students are having discussions about what art means to them as an individual and taking inspiration from Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, and Barbara Kruger to create their own individualized collage expressing their theme for art this year. Really great work so far and more to come!

The class lists have officially set sail and are posted outside the elementary building! While we hoped to launch them through Sylogist, the system isn't quite ready to leave the dock.

Just know—these lists weren’t thrown together in a bottle and sent out to sea! 🌊 A lot of thought, care, and heart went into building each crew. No matter the classroom, your Buccaneer is in for an amazing year with a team that always puts kids first. 💛🏴‍☠️

Tonkawa Public Schools is proud to announce that once again all enrolled Tonkawa students will eat free breakfast and lunch this year through CEP (Community Eligibility Provision).

The tribal clinic will be giving physicals next week (Monday-Saturday, July 14th-19th) all day. The cost is $20 CASH ONLY with all money going to the THS Athletic Department.

It’s time to enroll for the 2025–2026 school year at Tonkawa Elementary!

If ye haven’t picked up your enrollment paperwork yet, sail on over to the elementary office anytime — we’ve got everything you need to get started!

⚓ Finalized enrollment will be held July 21–July 24, so don’t wait to join the crew!

Let’s get your little Buccaneers ready to set sail for a great year! ✏️📚

NEW Student Enrollment for Mid-hi and High School will be July 21-24 from 8:30-3 in the MH/HS office.
You will need the following documents to complete your child's enrollment:

1. Child's birth certificate or birth record
2. Child's updated shot record
3. Proof of residence (ex. recent utility bill or lease agreement).

ATTENTION: This years 7th graders need to have their TDAP shot before school starts. This is a must, if they don’t have it they will not be allowed to start school.
