My name is Mrs. Grein and I am so happy that you decided to visit my webpage. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in Verdigris, Oklahoma were I attended school from grades K-8th. I then moved to Tutwiler, Mississippi and was apart of the Lee Academy school system my 9th grade year and part of 10th. I then moved back to Oklahoma and graduated from Claremore High school.
After High School graduation,I had the pleasure to attend and play basketball at Northern Oklahoma College for 2 years, where I earned my associates degree. I then went to Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas where I graduated with my bachalors degree and obtained my teaching certificate.
I have been teaching for 17 wonderful years. I started teaching at Tonkawa Elementary school in 1998 and stayed there until 2014. Out of those years, I taught 5th grade reading and science for 14. I made the move last year to the Middle School and even though the Elementary has a large piece of my heart, I am so glad that I did. I LOVE MIDDLE SCHOOL KIDS!! They are amazing and have so much to offer.
I met my AMAZING husband, Peter, at Northern Oklahoma College. We have 4 WONDERFUL sons that keep us young (at least at heart)!! Brekken is 20 years old and attends Northern Oklahoma College. Cameron is 16 years old and is a sophomore in High School. J.R. is 13 and is a 7th grader and Dominic is 11 and is a 6th grader.
When I am not teaching or watching ball games, I absolutly love, love, love to read. A night without reading is a night wasted in my opinion. I also like to crochet when the mood strikes.
